Even when a space is expunged from the present and is alien to the promises of the future, there remain a fact that we once loved and lived in that place. The architecture remains in our memories like a shell and return to us in fragments of our dreams. A place that once seemed too old, too cold, too small and too hot in summer. Now, in memory is warm and comforting.
In these varying sets of works I explore this expert from The poetics of space. Through mark making, shading and stacking while reflecting on the impressions of places I carry with me.
The color study is dedicated towards depicting the comfort from a memory.
